Emma, Gareth and Milly

I recently had an opportunity to do a really fun portrait session with a friend of mine, Emma Bullock, and her family. Emma works for Furniture Frontera, and she is definitely the gal to talk to you if you are looking for some nice new furniture!. Emma’s husband, Gareth, is a practioner of the Bowen Technique which is a gentle healing technique for curing all sorts of physical ills.

However, with all due respect to Emma and Gareth, who are a terrific couple, the star of the shoot was their awesome daughter, Milly. I am pretty sure that supermodel stardom awaits this fantastic young lady. She is just 10 years old, but radiates a personality of someone of more advanced years. She is, as they say, a natural.

We shot in two very picturesque locations – Vila Nova de Cacela and Manta Rota, both located very close to each other in the eastern Algarve.

Lisa and Matthew

Lisa and Matthew were married in Ayamonte Town Hall on August 27th. Unusually they picked quite an early time for the ceremony – 11am, in the sensible belief that an early start in an Andalucian summer minimises the heat. Still, it was warm enough and the gents in 3 piece suits were soon reaching for the hankerchiefs!. I am sure when they all tried on their dapper outfits in north-east England for the first time they couldn’t have imagined how hot it starts to feel after just a few minutes. Having said that, everyone looked fantastic!.

The girls got ready for the big day at a villa at nearby Costa Esuri Golf resort. Here is Lisa and her two bridesmaids all looking gorgeous.
